Teenage Selah was born into a cult and it was the only thing she knew. Cut off from modern society, she lives in a remote forest commune with other girls like her. The cult is presided over by a man called Shepherd who is a controlling, messiah-like figure with a frightening dark side. however, after a series of nightmarish visions and disturbing revelations, Selah starts to question her existence and the cult.
