Spenser is an ex-cop who is just out of prison. Just when he was leaving Boston for good, he is roped back in to help his old boxing coach and mentor, Henry with an amateur named Hawk. However, things take a turn as two of Spenser’s former colleagues are murdered and he and his new friend have to work as a team to find justice.
