Directed by Ben Wheatley, Rebecca tells the story of a newly married young woman who has gone through a whirlwind romance in Monte Carlo with her new husband, Maxim de Winter. After arriving at her new husband’s family estate on the English coast, the naive and inexperienced, she finds herself at odds in the shadow of Maxim’s first wife, the elegant lady Rebecca.
