Jurassic Park fans just got a new reason to cheer. Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow has recently released an all-new short film he directed and wrote with Emily Carmichael. Titled Battle at Big Rock, the 8-minute short takes place one year after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in Big Rock National Park. The short reveals how the dinosaurs are now living in our world. The plot follows a family of four who encounters with these wild animals and fights for their survival.
The short stars André Holland, Natalie Martinez, Melody Hurd and Pierson Salvador and the cinematography is done by Larry Fong and a background score by Amie Doherty. The director is back to direct Jurassic World 3, after his unfortunate his Star Wars 9 firing. He will co-write the script with Emily Carmichael and will executive produce the movie with Steven Spielberg.
Though it may look like Colin Trevorrow is heading in for Jurassic World 3, it will take more time than we expect to see the final film in the Jurassic World trilogy. Till then we just have to settle with this surprise short.
