Claimed to be the ‘spiritual’ sequel of the 1992 iconic horror classic, the new Candyman movie will see the return of Tony Todd in the titular role. With Nia DaCosta in the director’s chair, the movie will be an updated take on the franchise and will be directly connected to the original movie. Other major characters are played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman), Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (Misfits), Teyonah Parris (If Beale Street Could Talk), and Colman Domingo (Euphoria).
