Mr. Mom (1932)

Mr. Mom is so hilarious even after all these years. All was well for the couple- Jack and Caroline. They were living a happy life and making a decent living. However, when Jack lost his job all of a sudden, things got really out of hand. So, now Jack needed up staying at home and looking after the house while Caroline is out at her work. The only problem is that he has never done this before and has no idea what he is up against.

The Master of Disguise (2002)

Pistachio Disguisey is a sweet-natured Italian waiter working at his father’s Fabbrizio’s restaurant. Little did he know that his family holds the supernatural skills of disguise. But when his family is kidnapped by their arch-enemy, Devlin Bowman, Pistachio must use the skills of disguise to track down Bowman and save his family.

This movie eccentric and scary at time. But, it still manages to be funny overall. How?! With the titular character wearing a big paper-mache head though out the movie, it can be enigmatic and hilarious at the same time. The movie is about a  young wannabe musician who joins an eccentric pop band. The led of the band is the mysterious Frank.

Beetlejuice

A ghost couple is disturbed by the fact that their home is haunted by a conceited human family. Quite a reversal of roles from the traditional premise of horror movies, this forms the basis for the humorous tale. Beetlejuice ( Michael Keaton) is the star of the show who is hired by the couple to free themselves from the wrath of the humans. Directed by Tim Burton, the spooky horror is carried substantially by Keaton with his manic performance until the very end.

The Blues Brothers

The film brings to life John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd’s SNL characters “Blue Brothers” to life on big screen. The two of them learn that the orphanage that they grew up in in about to be shut due to back taxes. They gather their old bunch of band members and try to raise money to save the orphanage. A simple plot sizing up the absurd lives of two cynics amidst a lot of chaos and carnage
